Jarrod Richey

Jarrod Richey is Director of Music at Church of the Redeemer (CREC) in West Monroe, Louisiana, where he serves as choir director as well as oversees the church’s hymnal and music projects. Additionally, he teaches music and choir for Geneva Academy is the academic dean for the Redeemer School of the Arts. Both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees are in music. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Church Music and Worship from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Sarah have seven children, from seventeen down to three years old. When he’s not researching hymns or teaching music literacy classes, he writes over at Musically Speaking (jarrodrichey.substack.com).
