Theopolis is hosting a pre-Ministry Conference event on Monday, July 13, from 8:30 to 10 am, at Third Presbyterian Church (617 22d St. South) in downtown Birmingham, Alabama.
We are all made in the image of God and are therefore makers. In this talk, Ned Bustard will be sketching out a brief theology of art from a Christian perspective and give an overview of his recent work, how he does it, and what it means.
Ned Bustard is an award-winning children’s book illustrator, graphic designer, author, and printmaker. He curates the Square Halo Gallery and is the creative director for World’s End Images and Square Halo Books. Ned has lectured at colleges, schools, churches, conferences, and even bars. His artwork is found in numerous titles, including Bible History ABCs: God’s Story from A to Z, Revealed: A Storybook Bible for Grown-Ups, It Was Good: Making Art to the Glory of God, Saint Patrick the Forgiver, Legends & Leagues or, Mr. Tardy Goes from Here to There, and the Every Moment Holy series.
