The Theopolis Institute is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher Kou as Executive Editor of the Theopolis blog.

Christopher currently serves as intern for Immanuel Reformed Church (CREC) in Birmingham, Alabama, and as Project Manager for Theopolis books. He has published articles at Logos.com and in the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society. He is working on a book on the theology of the divine council.

He completed the Theopolis Certificate Program in 2017, writing his final paper on the divine council, and graduated from the Theopolis Fellows Program in January 2026.

Chris is a seventh-generation Christian of Chinese descent. He was born and raised outside of Chicago, and graduated from Elmhurst College with a B.S. in history and theology. Chris and his wife Ellyn have four children.

We are very grateful for the labors of Jackson Waters, who has served as Executive Editor since 2023. We wish him every blessing as he assumes his new role at Trinity Anglican Seminary.
