Online Term

Four Saturday Morning Sessions
Saturdays, March 30 - April 20
8am – 10am CDT
Meet via Zoom

Taught by Peter Leithart

The four Gospels are the pinnacle of Scripture. Everything prior to the Gospels points to the suffering and glory of the Christ. Everything after is the fruit of the events the Gospels recount.

Each Gospel tells the story of Jesus in a distinctive way, and together the Gospels constitute a four-movement symphony and a four-dimensional portrait of Jesus the King.

In this short Workshop, Peter Leithart will survey each of the Gospels, highlighting each evangelist’s distinctive angle of vision.

In Matthew, Jesus is a teaching priest; in Mark, a strong man who conquers through the cross; in Luke, a traveling prophet announcing the Lord’s favor; and in John, the Father’s Word made flesh.

In addition to lecturing, Dr. Leithart will lead a discussion on selected passages from each Gospel.

The course will meet for four Saturdays (March 30, April 6, 13, 20), starting at 8 am Central.

Peter Leithart is President of Theopolis.
