Description

Three Saturday Morning Sessions

10am – 12pm CDT

Taught by Peter Leithart

C.S. Lewis once complained about Bible scholars who never learned to read. Their job is to interpret the Bible, but they've never grappled with poetry, drama, or fiction. Their "professional" work suffers as a result.

At Theopolis, we strive to teach students to read and teach Scripture in depth. One method to achieve that is to correct the flaw Lewis discerned, and to teach Bible teachers to read literature well.

In this micro-Workshop, Peter Leithart will lead students through a series of reading exercises. We'll read lyric poetry, short stories, and drama, and reflect on the magic of good writing and good reading.

We will have three Saturday morning sessions, on October 21, November 4, and November 11. Register today!

Peter Leithart is President of Theopolis.
